Questions safety officers ask
Is Part5 Copilot a complete SMS?
No. It does the heavy lifting on Safety Risk Management, Safety Assurance, and Safety Promotion. Your safety policy and accountable executive are yours to set.
Do we have to be under Part 5 to use it?
No. Part 135 operators, Part 91 flight departments, EMS, law enforcement, and manufacturers all use the same process to investigate safety reports.
What does the person filing the report need?
Just your company's routing code and a phone or computer. There's no account and no login.
Who sees the analysis?
Only your Safety Officer. The person who filed the report gets a copy of their own text as a receipt. Their email address is shared only if they choose to share it.
What do we get back?
An editable document you can open in Word, Google Docs, or any word processor. Change it, add your findings, and file it. It's your report, not ours.
Do you keep our reports?
No, we don't keep a database of your reports. We email each analysis to your Safety Officer. Our AI provider's paid service doesn't use your reports to train its model.
What if we run out of monthly reports?
Nothing is lost. Reports still come in, and your Safety Officer will receive them as plain text. Add 15 more reports at any time for $25, then paste them into your dashboard for the full analysis.
Is this an ASAP program?
No. Part5 Copilot doesn't provide ASAP or Part 193 protections. It helps you investigate and learn from the reports your people file.
